THURSDAY Tried to catch a BIG lizard for CS today—it was jumping from thing to thing in her shoppe. It jumped on me and ran up my arm. I kinda liked that. |
FRIDAY Whippoorwills really loud at night on the Bayou. S says they drive him crazy. I told him it could be car horns honking, how would he like that instead? We laughed. |
SATURDAY M&D’s bougainvillea are really in full bloom. I have a brown thumb, I guess. Four big bushes and one blossom. Fertilizer? |
THURSDAY Played hooky this afternoon and went gallery hopping. I need more walls! |
SATURDAY Out to dinner with J&M. Nemo got some awesome leftovers. Island cats have it made in the shade. |
SUNDAY Breakfast outside at Tweenies. Great white heron walked right up to our table looking for a handout. C offered him the Travel section of the NY Times. Not what he had in mind. Kayaking later with L&P. Perfect day! |

SUNDAY Ran into B—he found some Calusa stuff on Cayo Costa yesterday. Told him about the guy we met who had found the Spanish coin on the beach. |
MONDAY Another day in paradise. 78 degrees and breeze. Perfect sailing weather. |

MONDAY Hopetown was great, nothing had changed. Had our same little cottage at H. Harbour Lodge. The lighthouse had a fresh coat of paint. More dogs than ever lying around. |
