Monday
Started off the week with our neighborhood hawk in the front yard.
Tuesday
Met S on the beach for sunset. Had a nice walk, both got relaxed.
Thursday
Invasion of the dragonflies!
Saturday
M&L got in okay. Took them to the new visitor center at Ding.
They were impressed.
Sunday
Early tennis with NW, then breakfast and NY Times on the
back porch with S. Id like two Sundays per week.
Tuesday
Showed M&L the aviary at Periwinkle Park. They loved it!
Wednesday
Traffic stopped for ages on San-Cap for an indecisive gopher tortoise.
Thursday
Got the call Ive been waiting for all year : Mangos finally ripe
at Ls house. Yippee!
Friday
Mango salsa, mango roll-ups, mango chips, mango purée. Mango soup?
Saturday
Sailed all day with M&A, G&C, big fun. Got two dolphin pods to
swim over to the boat.
Sunday
Early morning drive to Carl Johnson Park for kayak trip to Mound Key.
Water weekend!
Monday
Met S at Lazy for dinner; ran into lost friends from Timmys Nook
days.
Tuesday
Dreamed about crabs.
Thursday
Nemo has been stargazing in the driveway even more than usual.
Saturday
Watched a Cape Canaveral launch from our dock. I never get over the fact
we can see them!
Sunday
Introduced M&A to the Alva Diner. Pie, pie, and more pie.

Mango pie?
Friday
Sneaking up to Cayo Costa for a night with M&J. They booked the cabin
months ago.
Monday
Shopping note: Get more birdseed bells. Cardinal convention in town.
Tuesday
Nice evening walk with S before dinner. Hooray for unpaved roads.
Thursday
Wonder if Queenie is making mango ice cream . . .
Saturday
Long, hot tennis with S. Long hot shower with a tall, cold limeade. Lifes
perfect combos.
Sunday
Sushi at home tonight. Nemo was practically drooling. He got lucky.
Monday
Leonid meteor shower coming up. (Note: Check online for dates.)
Wednesday
Had a six-inch-tall ibis walk right up to me near Cs house. Where
was mom?
Thursday
First loggerhead nests should be hatching about now. Hope all the beach
folk have their lights out
.
Friday
Played tennis with NW until sunset. Mango sky!
Saturday
Early duel against weeds, then kidnapped S for serious hanging out at
Tweenies pool bar. Happy tourists always remind us how lucky we
are.
Tuesday
Kelsie and I booked a moonlight kayak trip for the weekend
